Transparent donor egg costs

We are always clear with our pricing. Costs for already-frozen donor eggs start at $2,500 per egg for the first six eggs, with subsequent eggs priced at $2,400 each. A cohort of 6 eggs is $15,000. Donor eggs are usually sold in pairs, with two eggs generally frozen on the same device.

When you receive your donor eggs, you will also have the option of a free genetic consultation through a third party with whom we have contracted, to make sure the sperm you plan to use is a good match. This can be extended to any sperm source that has already completed a genetic carrier screening, which the counselors will use to compare gametes with the donor eggs to give you the best chance of a healthy child.

Purchase a minimum of six eggs

If you are seeking our blastocyst promise, we suggest purchasing a minimum of six (6) eggs.

Reserve additional eggs

If your goal is to have more than one opportunity to transfer embryos, we advise reserving additional eggs beyond the initial six. This will give you the benefit of discounted rates, while also increasing your chances of achieving multiple blastocyst transfers.

Check fertility benefits

If you are using fertility benefits, our blastocyst promise does not apply. If you are nearing the end of your benefits, you may want to reserve additional eggs to ensure you have multiple blastocysts for future transfer.

Reserve all eggs at once

Reserving all your eggs at once is highly encouraged. This will secure the egg donor for future genetic siblings while lowering your overall cost. Multiple shipments can add costs as shipping and handling of eggs are priced at $625 for domestic and $800 for international shipments.

On occasion, Luminary Donor Eggs work with donor agencies or egg donors who need to travel to enhance donor diversity for aspiring parents. These efforts can incur additional costs to procure eggs, which will be reflected in an additional fee per egg. While such fees are not common, they can be easily identified when looking at the egg donor’s profile.
