Adapting the donor egg process to your family
We know your experience is uniquely yours, so we provide individualized care at every step. We are invested in your success, and only offer frozen eggs to make the donor egg process as convenient for you as possible.
We ship eggs directly to your fertility practice, where they will be warmed, inseminated and developed into embryos. One embryo that has reached the blastocyst stage is then transferred into the uterus. Donor eggs are exceedingly effective: 49% of clients bring home a baby after using one cohort of eggs.
The highest egg donor standards
- Our egg donors must be at least 21 years old — in keeping with the highest U.S. standards — to make sure they have the maturity to commit to the full donor egg process.
- We employ rigorous testing and data monitoring to ensure we only offer donors with high-quality eggs.
- Most of our donors also opt to share their identity, allowing for resulting children to learn about them when they reach legal adulthood, if they so choose.
Free genetic consultation to solidify your match
In addition to extensive screening for our egg donors, aspiring parents also have the option of a free genetic consultation after their egg donor match for any sperm source that has completed a genetic carrier screening. We contract with a genetic company, whose genetic counselors will compare gametes to ensure sperm and egg are well-matched, giving you the best chance of having a healthy child.

The embryologists who work with Luminary Donor Eggs have been at the forefront of egg freezing in the U.S. for more than a decade, and have the deep understanding of the egg donation and freezing process that results in excellent egg performance.
Our blastocyst promise
We know how important it is to be a part of helping you grow your family. That’s why we guarantee one (1) blastocyst stage embryo for every six (6) or more eggs purchased and paired with nonsurgical retrieved sperm that has motility of at least 1 million. If a blastocyst is not achieved using acceptable sperm, we will provide an additional round of up to six (6) complimentary frozen donor eggs. Often, more than one blastocyst is achieved with six eggs. When more eggs are warmed, there is a greater chance of having multiple blastocysts for transfer or for future genetic siblings.
If you are using fertility benefits, our blastocyst promise does not apply. In the case that a blastocyst is not achieved, you will utilize your insurance or purchase a new set of eggs.
